Hi Folks,
been lurking for awhile and finally registered
Have recently acquired a Mesa ROV mk II. LOVE this amp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, funds are tight at moment so no 2x12 to go with it (not that need it right now), but was wondering about trying the ENGL cab with it.
The cab is front loaded 2x12 vert. with V30's.
Thing is the Mesa is my 'new baby' and thus am v.careful with it.
I know about 'safe mismatch' but am wondering. The ROV has the internal speaker into the 8ohm socket with two spare 4 ohm sockets, the ENGL cab has one 'thru' socket (obvious) and one 16ohm socket. Would I be right in thinking I need to disconnect the internal ROV speaker and run from that 8ohm to the 16ohm on the ENGL cab? Am sure it is and ok, but as said Mesa is 'new baby' and wanna be sure.

Also, bit off topic Am BIG cap wearer. How can I get Mesa caps/beanie's in UK? As Mesa sight does not have anything for Int. shipping and UK dist. does not answer my email.
