Nice collection of amps and I laughed when I seen “red & green peppers of death” that was great.
Nice sounds also, little sizzle on the recording but can still get the fundamental tone of the amp and it sound great! Gives me some motivation to get a Mark III myself something I have been meaning to do for a while. I just love the dynamics of a Mark III, nice and tight. A III was also the first Boogie I ever tried I still remember the experience and that was about 20 years ago! It’s amazing I never got one since I have bought other Boogies through the years.

But a question for you.
Where is the Quad? Didn’t see it around.

John

John,
Thanks, the sizzle was my camera, the mic on it can't handle the chewy goodness of 2 EV's :D
I actually got rid of the quad, it was awesome, but 3 rack spaces for just a preamp is too much IMO, even though it sounded amazing. I actually traded straight across, the Quad for the Mark III Greenstripe (simul and eq) rackmount. By the time I had the quad, power amp and effects in a rack, it weighed a LOT. Not only that, the tones I had setup in the Quad, I can match perfectly with the III's.
I honestly think the Mark III's are some of the best sounding and most versatile amps Mesa ever made, and I'd take a III over a IV anyday. The only amp I like more overall is the DR, but they each have their strengths.

are you referring to the John Petrucci, or you have a friend named JP?

Koprofag- Thanks, I love my socks as well :D

Nick- I'm actually referring to my singer, his name is JP. HAHA, I never even thought about John Petrucci being JP.

Haha, I'm a big Dream Theater fan and belong to the John Petrucci forum (where we always refer to him as "JP"), so every time "JP Sucks" was stated, I automatically thought of him.

Anyway, nice video. My only complaint is every time you start playing for a few seconds, there's an erupt edit and it goes back to you talking. I would have liked to have heard more of the amps.

Like the song says, "Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar!" .

The next video I do will have much less talking, much more playing, I was just trying to make it as short as possible. :D
I have heard of Petrucci referred to as JP before, but it never clicked when I was saying JP sucks.
