I have a fairly new RK II that I bought used from Guitar Center. I love this amp. I play 70's and 80's rock and contemporary Christian music. This amp fills all the different styles and sounds of music. The amp came with the original Boogie tubes.

When it is time to retube the amp, do I need to replace all the tubes at once? Can I replace the tubes in phases? I got a gift certificate for Xmas but it is not enough to cover all the tubes.

Thank you. :)

No, you do not have to retube all at once. Usually the power tubes are the ones needing replacement more frequently. Suggest you download the manual available online for your amp to learn more about what each tube position function is while you're at it. Congrats on your new equipment!
