Oh, I know who stole it. We were in a band together and he took it, a '65 Gibson SG, and a vintage 1978 Electro-Haromonix Deluxe Electric Mistress and sold it for cocaine money. The cops couldn't recover any of it, but arrested him and about 3 years later, by luck of God almighty, I had a job at Outback Steakhouse with his little brother and he found my Electric Mistress (which his brother couldn't sell) and I got it back!
I didn't know about the dudes drug problem until he had sold his 50 watt Recto-Verb half stack and our whole warehouse was cleaned out. He played dumb for about 2 weeks with his girlfriend, and they turned up in Florida. Then a friend in another band was like "oh yeah, they've been binging on coke funded by all ya'lls gear..."
I ran into him in a music store one day too...it took everything I had not to beat his brains in. Its hard to take the high road sometimes. Especially when they put $5000+ of your hard earned equipment up their nose.
