Had my Rev F for about 2 weeks, now, and I'm amazed every day by this amp.
I tried a Series 1 Road King and a Sig:X before happening upon this ragged gem.
A lot of builders claim their amps can get you to "Dual Rec" territory - IMHO
if you want that sound, go to the source!

Hey, do you have a blackface dual? I've had my Two Channel Dual since around 2001 and only this summer, I figured out I had a Rev F. My brother was the one who noticed that it didn't sound 'generic' like all the other guys running duals with Les Pauls.

Mine's a 2 channel, chrome diamond plate with the little mesa logo, one knob loop and the oldstyle spkr outs. Popped some NOS preamp tubes in it and off I went.
Not generic to me!
The excellent unofficial archive pages really helped me figure out what I had.

Ya, it is unique and yet a recto. That is what is so cool about it. Hey, what do you think of the clean tone on the orange channel? I happen to think it is pretty awesome!

The cleans are pretty good - I need more
"dial-in" time on them, but definitely usable.
But the crunch is magic.
