New mesa express! What pedals do you like with it?

Monte Allums has a brand new BD2 Stack mod kit available for the Blues Driver. It is really nice..... I installed mine last weekend, it is quite the keeper now.

The Mesa od to me sounds very fuzzy and raspy, with rattly harmonics which distort against each other.

Sounds like your signal is going in too hot..... if you turn the gain down really low like 8 or 9 o'clock, is it still raspy/fuzzy sounding?
