Hi all,

I'm new around here- just thought I'd pop in and say hi.
I'm an session guy/producer living in London.

I have a bunch of amps- but my pride of place is an '89 Dual Recto Rackmount.
Had it since '92- bought it from Sunburt Music in Coogee, Australia.
It has been all around the world with me.
Serial Number is R-011XXX.

Can anyone tell me what revision is it based on the appearance and the serial?

Obligatory pics:

Welcome to the board! :D

Nice amp! Can't tell you anything about the revision, though, but there are plenty of other members here that can chime in about that.

First off, I can tell you that it's not an 89' and you haven't had it since 92'. The first Dual Rectos were built in 92'. With a serial # in the 11,000's it's somewhere around 97-99 and it's a rev G.

LOL.
Yes, you are right.

I meant to say it is from 1998.
I'm dyslexic- hasn't been quite so obvious in a while though.
My apologies.

The PRS Custom in the pic is from 1989 (quickly double checking)- I've had that since 1992- the Dual Recto I've had since around 1999.

I would say a 98, and all you have to do is take off the screws on the bottem and that bottem plate comes right off and it will be marked with a marker on the inside the year and the intials of the person that built it.

Great sounding amp, i have the same one, same year roughly.

Thanks guys.
