New JJ ecc83s gold pins

Hi everybody, well I just received my new jj tubes, and I play on my triaxis, well I only replace one of my triaxis tubes with one of them to test it, I choose the V4 for that matter, and here are my conclusions:
I don´t know why but I could hear some differences, theoretically that tubes are just the same than regular ecc83s, the construction is quite similar ( I think that they are the same ) and the only difference seems to be the gold pins, well just on my V4 ( the lead2 mode channels ) I hear some differences:
1) Gold pins has more noise
2) Gold pins sounds louder than regular pins. That could be one of the reasons of the more noise
3) The middles has the best definition on tubes that I had heard on all year along.
Well I don´t know if gold jj are preselected or what but I could hear that differences, is it time to call Mulder or Scully???
Any user could report us any conclusions else???

MMMmmmm....Scully. :twisted: Did you just try the gold in V4 and have you swapped it around to other positions? How about in V1? Let us know Gordo!

uffff the jj doesn´t seems to fit well on V1 and V2 positions it becomes a muddy sound, I have the jj on V3 and V4

Are they brighter or darker than the regular ECC83's? About the same?

I never noticed on ecc83s such dark blanket, the gold pins have an improvement on mids I think
