Mesa really addressed everything I hated about the original 3 Channel Recto: muffled sound, Zero presence, stale feel, popping when switching channels and gigantic footswitch. While it does not fully capture the feel of the older 2 channel Recto, it comes damn close. But in return I get a quieter, more optioned amp that is a swiss army knife of tones compared to the Meat Cleaver that is the 2 channel Recto. Nothing beats a vintage Cadillac, but the new ones are pretty damn cool too. :evil:
