My band Monarch just got done recording a couple new songs. After debuting them on the radio we posted one on our site. please check it out and any comments are appreciated. guitars were not recorded the best by any means...not chunky/thick enough for my tastes..but i plan on fixing that. anyways..check it out

It sounds pretty rad. Is the clean intro being done on your amp too? By the way, whoever it is in the band that likes Fair to Midland has some awesome taste. ;)

Thanks! the clean intro is a digital plug in run. Sounds better than a mesa clean in my opinion. We actually got to open for fair to midland when they came to town here. They are some rad dudes. we liked their music before but seeing them play live was just killer.

Awesome! It sounded really great. I added your band to my friends list. Definitely like the sound. Yeah FTM is an awesome, very unique band. I've talked a few times with Cliff on the net and in person (at their recent Hartford show last year), really humble and fun dude. Good taste in guitars, too, what with his PRS and all.

Their vocalist is just crazy though, I once saw a vid of Darroh hanging upside down from the rafters of a venue while singing...I have no idea how he got up there.

How do you like the TOV by the way? When I went looking for a recto it was pretty much a showdown between the TOV and Roadster for me.

cool cool. thanks for the kind words. The funny thing about ftm singer is that he's such a small guy with a killer high range voice..and then out of nowhere he'll bust out some rob zombiesque deep crunch tones. i love it though. when we debuted our new song on the radio the dj gave me some serj tickets. and i believe ftm is opening for him. so im stoked to see that show.
As for my tov... i love it. out of all the dual recs it definitly has some of the best clean tones. and even the modern tone is pretty distinct once dialed in. You'd definitly be happy with a roadster but in my opinion the tov was one of the best amps mesa made. lol but im pretty biased.
