I'm currently looking to upgrade my rig and want to replace my X2 Wireless with something a bit more fancy.

Any suggestions?

i personally LOVE my sennheiser wireless system im using...i use it for my guitar and for my in ears...it takes AA's and last FOREVER they just recently had a new line come out too...i LOVE sennheiser....so i would look into them...

if you dont like that...the majority of the bands we tour with use sennheiser OR the higher line of audio technica...they are a little more $$$$ for the higher line..and i think the lower line isnt that good or at least not comparable to the sennheiser

hope that helps

What do you not like about the X2? I've been running it for a while now, and have not the slightest complaint.

+1 for Sennheiser

Great systems with lots of features and are built extremely well.

It eats 9V batteries every hour or so. It's getting pretty spendy esp. when you're not recouping your costs on the road.

Mine 9Vs last at least 8hrs a piece...

Rechargable 9V's....I bought a charger and two batteries for $30 or $40....each battery lasts me 8 hours no problem. Then charge them and go again.

That would be a good idea...

That's actually a great idea...I think I'll go with that.

Look into a company named 'Maha'....they're stuff is well recommended for pro audio stuff. I got their 4 battery charger and 2 batteries, and they work GREAT!

Hey guys.. I also have a Sennheiser G2 Evolution wireless... Do you guys notice while playing that the bars are always showing full and the peak light is always on... is this normal... ive tried turning down the output on the unit which stops it from always being on peak.. but it just takes the tone away... if i play it with the ouput and up... its sound awesome but.. Im just wondering if its normal for it to be on peak all the time.
