I just picked up an oversized 4x12 Rectifier cabinet for my Mark V head. Previously, I was using a Marshall 1936 cab (2x12), which I now have with my Mark IIB at my band's rehearsal space. What a huge difference, especially on the low end! I haven't had a 4x12 for a long time, and it is great to be able to actually dial in a lot of low end. Previously, once I got past a certain range on the dial, adding bass did virtually nothing for the tone; the 1936 cab just couldn't respond to the input.

The high end seems better too, even compared to other cabs with similar speakers. In general, very responsive. Not to mention it looks cool too. I am really digging it.

Will post pics of my rig soon.

Pic of Mark V rig. I'm loving the new low end with the cab.

Thanks. I can't seem to run out of tonal options with the Mark V. I have had it over six months and feel I'm not even half-way on where I can go with it.
