here it is :D
-squier affinity series strat alder body maple neck and fingerboard
-MESA BOOGIE NOMAD 100 HEAD (the prize of my collection)
-and (i know) a beat up marshall 4x12. it just sound better than the rest of the cabs for a way lower price. it's a jcm 900 lead 1960 slant 4x12 (only 315 with tax, how could i resist!)
it sounds heavenly, i'm not even cranking it! (i don't plan on it :D)

Congratulations!

Nice, I like the "vintage vibe" coming from the road proven cab and the Strat. Glad the Mesa still looks good though 8)

The stack looks awesome! Were cool vibe to it!

May I ask why a squier? Is it a magically playing one?

yes you may ask "why a squier" the answer is that i've been saving for that nomad head since the begining of last summer, after all i'm only 14 and the police frown on people hiring kids under 16 :). my next purchase will be between a mic/pa or a new guitar (something p-90 or triple humbucker) but i am happy with the squier right now. a les paul copy with 3 humbuckers, mahagony body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, and walnut cap. that my friend is vintage heaven. only with paf's.

it's 6 o'clock here and i can't play it! this angers me :x
but when i do:

and besides i don't need a "heavy metal mahine", just something versatile will suffice for now :).

indeed it does, it's a heck of a beast. next PA, clips, THEN THE WORLD :D

SEXAYYY!
The cab looks real nice! got the same one, but this one looks better ;] older..

Nice rig Nomadlover! You say that it's complete, but you'll get G.A.S. (Gear Aquisition Syndrome) one of these days! Oh yes, you will! Hehehehe.

I wish that I would've had toys like that when I was 14.

TOOO LAAATE!
The next guitar is either an itlaia mondial with some phat cats in it or a gibby sg classic (with p-90's at guitar center!)

If you step up the guitar, go for something with p-90s (granted that youre not playing death metal haha).

I have p-90s loaded in one of my custom strats and I play a les paul Jr and I just sold my Nomad head last week and i think that they get the crunch and vibe and sound perfect with that head. The italia is cool looking, but its kinda micky mouse in the materials

IMO a great guitar doesn't have to be "the purest of mahagony". i think it'll be cool. i'm gonna load it with the p'ups that eastwood sells to get the sound of the original ones in the 60's or some duncan phat cats. the eastwood's are winning although they might be the same thing. it's really between the mondial or an eastwood "stormbird" (a non-reverse copy of a firebird with basswood/maple/rosewood with 2 p-90's) that's freakin bright! really 2 opposite ends of the spectrum. i'm still deciding, the mondial is winning though

not saying it has to be a custom shop les paul; all i was saying is that its made out of low end material and youre paying for a look; the eastwood guitars are actually excellent and have a great build quality

i know eastwood makes good guitars. i was thinking about buying a stormbird and putting a custom cut silver shell pickguard on there off warmoth. and, if it needed it some new p'ups. i don't think it will though. i will probably do that instead

He obviously knows more at 14 than anybody else. Let him get the masonite veneered guitars if he wants... someone has to buy them.
