Hey folks,

i got a problem...my rack (mesa studio preamp -> peavey classic 60/60 -> marshall 1936) grumbles...but i dont no the reason...

i tried even the switches on the back of the pre- and poweramp, but nothing changes...
maybe the tubes?
maybe cables? (actually i checked them already...but yeah...i dont know)

any other ideas?

thx for help,

Jerry

Could be the socket in the guitar. After years of wear or bending it might not be making a secure connection.

have you tried turning off the studio pre and see if that stops the "grumbels?"

You need to isolate the problem to 1 piece of gear (either the studio, cables, 60/60, etc)
