Hey Red Barchetta...

How do you like your Fulltone Clyde deluxe? Since I love my OCD so much I may have to get another Fulltone product...my old crybaby is due for a replacement,

Finnster, I love it. I initially was just gonna get the Clyde Standard, but I'm glad I got the Deluxe. Most of the time, I'm on the Jimi setting, but having the other 2 modes is icing on the cake. In my opinion, this is the best, most user friendly, sweetest, and most musical wah I've ever had the privilege to play.

My board is starting to look like an ad for Fulltone! But, hey, that's what my ears tell me is the best for my rig!

Thanks! I gotta try one.

Here is my board so far:
Wah->Keeley Comp->Fulltone OCD->MXR Wylde->MXR EV Phase->H2O->
Planet waves tuner.

All powered by MXR Brick on a PedalTrain. Looks real clean. I may boot the Wylde..dont see much use for it since I got the OCD!!

OK Finnster, my turn....

what do you think of your MXR EV phase? I have the phase 90 that I modded with the r28 mod...made it sound more like my old one...

our keyboardist showed up at the gig last night with his EV phase, and it sounded great on his keys....so I wonder....hmmmmm.....

suggestions?

I havent heard a modded one but I do like the EVH better than the 90. I only use is in the "classic" mode..the "modern mode just doesn't do it for me. If you like EV sound on VH-1 than this pedal nails it when put at about 9-o'clock. It really adds to single line lead tones. Hope this helps.

Just wanted to chime in on the Clyde Deluxe Wah - I picked one up to replace my BudWah that died a week ago and it is absolutely as described: the most musical wah I'v ever played.

Tons of usable tones at every point on the pedal. HIGHLY recommended. I too, tend to live in Jimi mode but I do like the low-end setting as well.

Ok...update....I got my gig bag for this board from www.studioslips.com just like ol' Brewski suggested....in a word....GREAT. It has quilted padding throughout, is very sturdy, and fits like a glove. I had them leave a bit extra room (thickness) above the top of the board so I can get a piece of foam and give some extra padding. This company was awesome. I recommend them to anyone....and now, the pics....

Looks great Red! I'm glad that the cover worked out well for you. It looks like a very professional fit and finish all the way around.

The board loaded up is about 38 pounds. I'm guessing with the cables and case, maybe 40-42 pounds max.

Case sure makes it easier to carry, though!

Mine isn't homemade...I dont have the talent (wish I did) but here it is anyway, I used a pedal train and it came with a soft bag. It is pretty handy, there is extra room for cables/straps and stuff.

You dont have the talent to cut a piece of wood and put some pedals over it ???!!!
Dude just cut a wood retangule and glue some velcros.

I prefer yours cause it should weight much less .

Well I guess I do have the talent to just use a piece of wood, but to make it to the level of Red Barchetta's......now that would be difficult for the average Joe to match...his board looks like an instrument all by itself...many compliments! :D :D

Finnster...thanks for all the compliments...you guys are good for my ego!

My opinion is...whatever your woodworking skill level is...go for it. I am learning by trial and error, even after doing this for years. If your skills produce a warped piece of plywood with crooked velcro strips...so be it....it's yours...and you did it. Mine is nice, but I'm willing to bet that there are several people on this board that could do better....(hmm...a challenge?) It gave me personal satisfaction to produce my board...try it yourself...you may be surprised!
