I finally felt a little inspiration to do a clip. I decided to do a little know Winger tune called Battle Stations (from the Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey soundtrack). I have been on an 80s Hard Rock kick as of late and decided to throw this down. Learned the leads as I was recording so it isn't note for note (which I don't really care about any ways). It was recorded at very low volumes. My recorded tone with the IIC+ isn't quite where i want it just yet but I'm starting to get there.

What do you think??

:D or

Get yourself at least one EV loaded thiele, and mix it in with your celestions while recording. Crank up the MASTER on your C+ every chance that you get.

Sounds good! I know what you're saying about not quite being right - the recording sounds a bit pinched to my ears, but then again, guitar cabs can be tricky to record.

I like it alot, but compared to some of the Mark V clips you posted in the past, it seems a little weak. In terms of tone, not playing.. of course. It's almost like the mic isn't close enough for the levels aren't high enough. That carry on my wayward sun clip you did with the FIVE was killer! 8) Anyway, thanks for the clip!
