Ok it falls into the who cares dept... but I actually attend the unshamed camp of Boost Using Typically run less gain in an amp channel using a boost for freq shaping and allowing 2 choices for gain levels.

The recto just starts singing with the boost.. I used to be a no-boost but why struggle when one can win with just small addition..

The Marshall 2203 is also one amp that shines with proper boosting.

hehe exactly! I think if a player picks up an amp that actually needs a boost, in my case it was the LSS then getting comfortable with the idea becomes acceptable. Now I don't give it a 2nd thought

Need is a strong word.. but put it in a way that user does not have to practice 10h per day for about 3yrs to achieve fluidity
