Perhaps this is a big No No, but is it OK to simultaniously patch a 8 ohm speaker as well as a 4 ohm cabinet? Since each would have it's own cable and individual terminations.
i.e. 8 ohm patch to a C90 and a 4 ohm to a 4 ohm in of a 2x12.

I viewed Mesa's Rectifier manuals for safe and unsafe connection options and found no illustration for this type of connection. :?:

I just want to ensure doing this wouldn't create havoc with the speaker out

Dont know about your amp mate but I called the UK Mesa supprt guys who told me it was ok to run the combo speaker (8 ohm) in its own output and to run my 4 ohm cab in one of the 4 ohm outlets simultaneously in my Mark V.
