Looks like I'm going to pull the trigger on an Allen Amps Accomplice 1x12 combo kit tomorrow.

I pulled the trigger on this in kit form today:

I custom ordered mine with cream tolex and a light brown grill cloth and leather handle. The chassis/tubes/transformers etc are going to be sent to me in a few days - the cabinet will be sent to me in a little over a month.

Did you purchase the diy kit or got completed version?

To me, Allen Amps are like playing BF Fenders but durability w/ added features that very useful, not these non-sense stuff that you will never use.

I purchased the kit. His amps get nothing but rave reviews and he's really nice to deal with as well so I'm looking forward to putting this together. The only thing I was a little hesitant about was that I could pick up a used Lonestar for about the same price as this kit.

Nothing beats building your own stuff though!

It'll be nice to have a combo amp again right now I only have heads and big cabinets that I need to lug around everywhere.
