My question is that whn I use my triple rec on the vintage mode then switch to modern the change in volume is huge, this is not to say that vintage is weak. Is this normal? Also I find it hard to get a good sound out of modern, too bright and fizzy even with no prescence. I really like the vintage setting but find the modern too out of control!
The following is a quote from the recto manual, I don't quite understand this but may this be what I'm trying to explain?
Channel 2’s MODERN mode - as part of its voicing - utilizes substantially less negative feedback in the power stage creating a scenario of greatly increased power sensitivity. This internal revoicing produces amazing results in the lead sounds and requires a sophisticated network of elements to switch to prevent the increased power sensitivity from blowing you out of the room as you toggle between Channel 2’s RAW & MODERN modes.
Any suggestions to settings or anything I may be doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
