BTW - Baby kittens cry when Trace mods Pre-500 amps... That's like buying the Mona Lisa and then painting her hair another color.

I bought it already moded, and have contacted Mesa about returning it to stock. Honestly, it's not really a big deal to do so. The iron is all original....all that's changed is a few resistors and minor parts.
