MKV Footswitch Cable interface.

If you have had a problem with your EQ cutting in and out here's how to fix it. when the cable gets pushed down at the amp back or at the footswitch, the connection is broken. So take a pliers and SLIGHTLY oval the cable end . the top and bottom should be the high points. (The top is where the dimple is.)

If there is a weak link in this amp, that cable/interface is it. I have to loop the cable through the handle of my head to take the weight off of the cable going into the connection in the back of the head.

So are you saying your cable was a little loose fitting to begin with?
I'm wondering 'cause mine is nearly impossible to get it in there unless I
perfectly line it up.

Yeah mine too, but the thing wiggles up and down when you do get it in. when it gets pushed down by gravity or other forces of nature..the EQ cuts out. I found that the pliers trick works pretty good.

It appears that this problem shows up differently to different people. This cable is definitely something to keep an eye on.

I can't switch my FX loop in and out. I figure it's the cable, but haven't been bothered to fixed it. I might give this a try to see what happens.

Make sure your fx assign switch is on fs on the back of the amp..
