MKIV Footswitch

Does a footswitch from a "B" work with an older "A" version of the MKIV? I picked up a 92 "A" MKIV with no footswitch and was going to order one from Boogie but wanted to make sure it would work with my "A" model.

I tried and it works, I have a version A and my FS-3 had a problem switching to lead+Eq, so I asked a friend to bring his footswitch (he has a Mark IV B) and it worked perfectly!
