M Mark Fore Well-known member Joined Mar 16, 2006 Messages 639 Reaction score 0 Mar 29, 2010 #2 If you run the volume pedal in front of the amp, it acts like a guitar volume knob and cleans it up. If you run the volume pedal in the fx loop it will decrease volume, but not gain.
