MKIII Purple stripe Reverb knob acts like a mid knob

I recently discovered that My Reverb knob on my MKIII purple/simul/EQ acts like a mid range knob starting middy on ether extreme(1 or 10) and scooping ,rather niceley i'd say,at 5-6. is this a mod or something everyone does? scooping makes for some wicked palm mutes and chugs.

My purple stripe does this as well. I believe that is the reason for the reverb mod? I kind of like the effect, as I can reach back and dial in more or less scoop depending on the situation. :twisted: :twisted:
