Hello, everyone. Quick question on a MKII....if one was to remove two tubes..one from each side....would one want to run the in-cab speaker on one of the 4 ohm outputs so as to maintain an impedance match?

When removing 2 tubes from a 4 tube amp the two-output tube amp needs twice the primary
impedance of its four-output tube amp counterpart. When you remove two of the output tubes,
the primary must be doubled to accommodate the two remaining output tubes.
Your speaker impedance must be doubled !
I really think the impedance issue was a real issue in vintage amps , especially older marshalls/hiwatts ect.
But the rule is half the tubes , double the impedance.
