they are orange cab's....so they are both 16 ohms but i am going rewire them to that....or would keeping them both at 16 ohms make the right load...what is the load of 2 16ohm cabs..?

2 16 ohm cabs total to 8 ohms.

And no, you can't run a 4 ohm and 8 ohm at the same time with your mark IV.

leave them at 16 ohms and plug them into the two 8 ohm jacks, dont convert them, theres no reason to, i like orange cabs by the way, i have a 2x12 made by them, sounds bad ***

He could put both cabs in the 4 ohm caps, or daisy chain the cabs into the 8 ohm caps. It would be safe either way.

yeah...SO ....do you think it would be better running 4 ohms in the 4 ohms C/T than a mismatch at 16 ohms....but still Whats safe ? What do i do..i can run them both at 4 ohms....so that means it would be out of the two four ohms taps...but i am not sure about 2 ohms load...?? i have heard a mesa Rep say "yes, you can run 2 4ohm cabs with a mk iv using the two 4 ohm taps......."

What to think...

Thanks Tom
