I have been thinking alot about how to get R2 to match better in tone with R1. I have the R2 Volume mod but
find the R2 channel to be too dark. What are you thoughts about adding a PF cap across the R2 volume control that is added with the R2 mod? Usually when you put a PF cap across a volume control it brightens up the channel, think Fender Bright switch. It could be just the ticket to add sparkle to the dark R2. Any thoughts?
2nd Idea:
I find the pull treble shift to be a bit too extreme. The pull shift adds a 750PF cap across the 250pf treble cap on the tonestack.
I am thinking about lowering the value to maybe 330PF or 500pf. Still get the effect of the shift but not as extreme. Thoughts?
