Guys
Recently I was getting ready for an audition for a country rock gig and was auditioning my DC-5b and my MKIII trying to decide which one to take. The MKIII blue simul was understandably spongey in its feel (which I like) and I thougt it fit the gig better. The DC-5b was more aggressive and in your face from a fee'response perspective which got me wondering........
Is there a difference in the output section of the two amps besides the obvious Simul technology? I'm outta my league on the tech stuff but is one amp pentode for main power and the other triode?
I had not played the amps side by side in a long time so this is fresh in my mind and was curious.......
Apologies for the dumb question if this is an obvious answer.
Thanks guys.....
