Not sure you can do so safely, but others can put me right on this if there is a way I run 2 x 8 ohm cabs from both 4 ohm sockets, and the amp performs at it's best to my ears through this set up

crane Well-known member Joined May 9, 2008 Messages 483 Reaction score 0 Jun 17, 2013 #3 If you can put them in serial, no pb (4+8 = 12ohm, fit in the 8ohm output). But you can't plug them in parallel (2.7ohm), too low for the output tranny. Your tubes will worn out very quickly and this may even damage the output tranny.
