So, I walk into Long and McQuade and look, still no Mini-Recto. I asked if they had one in yet. Salesman says, we had one for two hours and then some guy scooped it. I ask "Did you get to try it?". "No"

It doesn't surprise me in the least as the Mini is undoubtedly a lunchbox amp killer. Having said that, these little guys are indeed the real deal and the thing that really sets them apart from their bigger brothers is the lack of overkill power/headroom which makes them ideal for bedroom playing, recording, and small gigs. In addition, they are very dynamic and dare I say much more responsive and versatile than their bigger brothers. The Minis clean channel is also something to write home about as it's full of character sporting a full bodied/sparkly clean tone..... :mrgreen:
