I need to get some amp covers. I seem to remember reading that Mike B.'s wife has been making them.

Does anybody know about this? I would rather give her the money than get something off of ebay!

I've had a couple of the D2F covers, but foolishly let them go with the amps when I sold them.
They are pretty nice.

As for Cal. I lived in LA twice (don't ask why I went back), things were not that expensive there. Not as bad as San Francisco. My girlfriend at the time was from SF and she was always amazed at how cheap things appeared to be in LA. I had just moved back from Maui, so things were a bit more affordable, but they were still way overpriced as compared to anywhere else in America!

I had a Studio Slip for my halfback, and currently have one for my recto cab. They're defiantly high quality slips.

I should be getting 2 of the padded slip covers for my Rectifier standard cabs for Christmas. . Looking forward to getting them for the road. Don't know if I'm getting the extra padding or not, i guess that will be the "surprise" part. :lol

I got my new studio slips in as an early Christmas present. I used them going down to our music video shoot in Florida. They fit great and really seem to be well made. I am extremely happy with them, and they make the cabs a lot lighter than what they weigh with flight cases. I think they'll work great for tour! I ended up getting the double padding, I think it is worth the extra money to get this option.

Here's a pic of one of my cabs with the studio slip on, while on set for the video shoot.

sweet man. I don't think you'll be dissappointed. I really like mine. I'm looking forward to taking them on tour, stoked that they're lighter than flight cases. I'll get a better pic of the pair when they're together. I'm gonna badge them up somehow to make them unique to me (don't want them to be five finger discounted to someone else while on the road).
