It allows you to use a Boss FS-5 type footswitch (used with dd5) to control tap tempo functions on these Line6 pieces as well as other rack gear...It is powered by the midi cable and sends the tap tempo info down the midi cable...It is in perfect shape and has a strip of 3M dual lock on one side...
