Thanks in advance - this is a great sounding board- horrible pun accidental.

I have a Roadster combo that I am loving. I put an Expession in the loop that sounds great, but changing presets and then amp channels sometimes many times during the song is way more work than I want to do.

So I am looking at switchers. I am leaning toward the Ground Control pedal and rack, only becaise it has a good rep and is the most affordable. However if the Bradshaw or Rocktron or some other solution is better please let me know.

Anybody using these systems? If so are you happy with it?

Thanks

Joe

+1 on the Axess. I'm using a MFC5, GRX4 and have used a CFX4 in the past all work really well.

i also have a roadster and the xpression.... i use this piece of gear called the amp gizmo that switches all my channels as well as all the functions on the roadster (ie solo, reverb, fx)..... awesome switcher (no pops) and so simple to use.... and they sell a special chord for the roadster that plugs into the footswitch jack on the back of the amp instead of using all the 1/4 inch function jacks..... its also a bit cheaper than the axcess stuff... check it out... maybe something to consider.....
http://www.rjmmusic.com/ampgizmo.php ....... they also have a new product coming out that controls 16 functions/controls

Hi.. I also have a roadster with a recently purchased rocktron xpression in the FX loop.

Any tips on setting up the xpression?

What do you set your "send Level" control to on the Roadster?

Do you run the Xpression in analog mode ?

I would appreciate some advice as I don't seem to have mine sorted yet.

thanks

i have the level on the roadster at about 50% maybe a touch more.... and i used the digital signal just because i've found some of the delays and reverbs more appealing using the digital setting. other than that i just dove in head first and did some exploration..... i've also been a/b -ing between my roadster setup and my line 6 vetta to get some of my favorite patches matched by my roadtser/xpression..... still learning myself though... if i find anything mind blowing i'll let you know

+1 on the axess stuff. i have a CFX4 w/ a mod DR MIDI cable and GRX4.
