Upon close inspection of my amp, I realize why the price was so low. The jerk wrote his settings in black sharpie all over the front. He crossed out the RAW and VINTAGE setting. Im thinking perhaps he was a strung out addict of some kind, i dont see how anyone could taint this beauty like he did. Anyway Im wondering if anyone here ever did any work on that area of the amp. Its The Chasis itself that needs to be redone somehow. It looks like I could paint it and add in the labels myself with a stencil maybe. Any suggestions?

Try removing the felt pin mark with this stuff. You could find this stuff at Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, or Orchard Supply.

Its a solvent weaker than alcohol but stronger than water. So you should not damage anything. With elbow grease you should be able to clean most or all of the ink off.

Did you get a really good price? (dont tell me im just making a point) If you did why not throw the savings on a new shell and be gone of the previous mojo. It wouldnt hurt resale either...

just ideas.

denatured alcohol also works well. i used it to clean some marker settings off the black chassis on one of my rectos.

ninja edit, i spent $1485 CDN and ive seen them priced 2300ish new plus tax so, for me it was stupid not to get it. Looking at the price I payed for the sound I'm getting, it's a huge steal. Plus I've already blown it and they replaced the tubes free of charge. Big ups Long & McQuade.
