Hey folks,
actually, I'm pretty satisfied with my stiletto trident stg. I.
It gives me great british crunch, nice cleans and - with a nice pedal as a booster - cool leadsounds.
But all in all, it lacks a tight bass for heaviers sounds.
At that point, the sound gets a little flubby.
Well, I'm a man of flexibility and I'm always searching for some kind of "all in one"-setup. I have a nice pedalboard which helps me achieving this goal, but there's still the little "problem" with the heaviers sounds.
Well, as a Mark IV is really hard to find in Germany I ask for your help.
Could de Mark IV to it to me with nice cleans, a cool vintage-crunch, singing, fat leadsound and a heavy, tight distortion?
Should i give it a try or do you think as a stiletto user, i won't like the mark IV-crunch?
What's about reliability and craftmanship?
Would you say, that an older Mark IV beats the stiletto?
I think about getting the head 'cause i already own an engl 4x12 pro and the fitting 2x12" with V30s.
best regards from Germany,
Toby
