I have had one on order for a month and continue to wait (hopefully not much longer as I've been cabless). I originally ordered it because I wanted something compact and not so heavy but am realizing that with those preferences I may be compromising in tone. Are there any Roadster 2x12 Cab owners out there? If so how do you like your cab? Can anyone fill me in on what I can expect? Thanks..... :)

I'm not going to lie, i didn't like it all. It sounded completely boxy and lacked presence. I have the recto vertical 2x12 now and it's my favorite 2x12. I used to have the horizontal recto 2x12, which I also liked a lot, but the vert is better imo as it is off the floor and the enclosure is a bit bigger.

i would stay away from the roadster 2x12, jmo.

I find my 2x12 to be a bit congested/nasally sounding. There is always this lower mid hump that is hard to get rid of, although that could be the room and or amp as well. I'd like to try the mills acoustic 2x12 or the road king 2x12.

I like both of these. My Mills copy (which is not a mills but is similar) sounds way bigger but the Road King cab is no slouch either. I'd have to AB them for a direct comparison but from what I remember, the Road King was tight and very balanced. The Mills Copy colours the sound more, by adding bass and treble in the extreme highs. It is also extremely tight and very clear / articulate. Doesn't get muddy.
