Mesa recto 2x12 wiring color

need help!!!!!

i was trying different speakers in my 2x12 mesa recto cab and i didn't check which wire (black and white) goes to the positive side in the speaker???

i basically placed the white wire to the positive side in the speaker and the black wire to the negative side of the speaker......sounds fine, but i just want to double check

Shouldn't matter, as long as you have both speakers hooked up the same way.

I think that's how it's supposed to be, but I can't check right now since my cab is at practice.
