Just out of curiosity, what is it you do not like about the V30's? And what speaker do you plan on switching to?

Just sounds harsh to me. I bought an Avatar 2X12 with greenies.

The V30's take some time to break in and mellow out. I wouldn't ditch the cab right yet. Face the speakers to the floor and pump some bass heavy music through them for about 10 hours. You'll be surprised at how much better they sound after break in.
