Mesa NOS EL34 6CA7

I got what I think is a steal on a pair of NOS STR 440 El34 6CA7 from the very late 1980's. New in package. Would these be worth using in my rectoverb S2? I have yet to try EL 34's in it. I know that mesa warns about using older EL34's but im assuming that these would be fine being as they have been given the hammer treatment by mesa and should be ok. Any thoughts?

If they are Mesa labeled tubes go for it.

yeah they are mesa's ...and they are working nicely...nice change of pace

Those are relabeled Siemens. Great tubes and worth every penny. The last of the great tubes IMHO.
