Hi Guys,
This is my first post!
I am from Sydney, Australia.
I have been an avid fan of Mesa/Boogie for years, and have owned a 2 channel dual rec, a 3 channel, and now have fallen utterly in love with the Mark V.
I thought you guys might appreciate checking out my Mark V in action for the recording of my latest album with my band Paradigm.
I would love to hear your feedback! My Mark V gets all channels going in these videos.
Feel free to rate comment, and 'like' the facebook page. I would be really appreciative to have some of you awesome forum guys 'like' the page, as you guys know tone if anyone does. Enjoy! :D

this totally got my attention :) awesome songwriting, really I am stunned.. Keep us posted about the album.. The sound is great, too..

YEAH, SEN...YOU KNOW WHAT'S UP!! 8)

Seriously, good feel (and tone) man..no doubt. How much of that Eleven Rack made up some of that tone? Haha.

You've come to the right place.

Thanks for sharing brotha!

Yearh! That was awesome! Great tight tone, and some really nice playing!! Keep up the good work, and let us know when the album is done! Looking forward to listen to it!
Again; great, really great!

Wow, didn't expect to get anything back on my first post!
Thanks to you all for your very kind words. The album is titled 'Mind Is Key', and should be out later this year, it follows our first record 'Symmetry (In)Sanity'.
The sound's your hearing are only Mark V panned hard left and right with a Shure SM57 and a HEIL PR30. I used the Eleven Rack to capture my performances, and then re-amp them back into my Mark V for recording (in this regard the Eleven is fantastic!). It really is a dream amp. I used 1 guitar and 1 amp for the entire album. Now THAT is a versatile amplifier! The recording set-up as below! Enjoy :D

It's really cool to have some feedback from tone chasers like yourselves. We have a good following in Australia but it's great to see some people enjoy it outside!
Thank you so much again for the kind words, I am very humbled

Excellent playing and well put together vids

Good luck with the album launch guys - keep us posted

That is flat out killer. Can't wait for it to be finished. Nice job!

hey jimmiivanyi, I noticed in one of your pics you're using a Golden Age Projects pre73 mic preamp (Neve 1073 clone), do you think it makes a big difference to your sound?

I really loved the old school Neve desks with the 1073 preamp channels, you could push them into really nice saturation

Thanks for the kind words.

I did find the Pre73 was a very nice little unit.
It did have that classic 1073 colour. Although, as much as I liked it, I found it to be crackly and noisy. I swapped it for another unit and the other did the same thing. Which is a shame as I thought it was too good to be true. Still, a great sounding unit, just not reliable.

I affected the tone in a subtle way. I didn't have to much pre gain colour, just enough to give it some sweetness. If it wasn't noisy it would have been awesome. Now I'm using a LA610 MKII, and thats, well.. the bomb.

Thanks guys for your kind words.

It really means a lot, and I'm humbled you tone machines appreciate it :)
