Quite impressive-a great job all the way! I really liked it. I still can't play that one after all these years. :-(
I've heard many of your songs online. They're all really good performances. Keep the good songs coming.
David

thanks!!! :D
Yngwies technique has always eluded me so learning this has been quite a humbling experience for me.

kmanick,
Thanks for checking out my Yngwie clip, and the comment on YouTube. I loved your recording! That was awesome and I really enjoyed it! I've always thought that was a really cool song and you did excellent. And you too... sweet guitar :)

Mark III's can do ANYTHING.

Do you need the presence that high all the time, or only when using the hotplate? I use virtually the same settings (lead master at 5 or so) but I run the presence pretty close to zero. At 4 it seems really unpleasantly bright.

Something was wrong with the website earlier today.
I just tried it and it was ok.

No just with the hotplate.
When I run it straight out I keep that presence at about 2
The louder I run it the less Presence I use. (I agree with you , it can get "ice picky" real quick).
but down this low with the hotplate, the pres up a little keeps the sound sharper (kills the muffle).

Wow..Yes that was impressive..the sound was very smooth..This was straight into the amp with no EQ? May I ask what guitar and pickups for this take.. I have the Mark III red stripe as well running through the 80's Mesa cab (has the metal grill on it) The clips are they all mostly with your Mark III.. I'm curious on your sounds as I'm in two original bands at this time and they both keep pushing me to the Triple Rec Solo head..
I'm using the Mark III and A/B a Bogner Line6... Thanks again for the great clips.. Cgonzer

that was straight into the amp.
No post EQ either (just a raw take) wqith a little Reverb on it.
this is the only Mark III clip I have on that netmusicians.org site.
the other clips are all labled by amp.
the guitar is my all maple GMW (suncans :sh5,59)
this one. (surprisingly for an all maple guitar it sounds killer).

yeah this confirms it, my MKIII is broke. It only plays simple crap with many mistakes.
