Mesa Mark II chassis screw size

I am trying to build a head shell for a Mark II. The chassis screws are far too short and I need longer ones. I have difficulty determining what those screws are.. Maybe 0-80 UNF? Any ideas?

i also need to know the screw and washer size for my mark IIc+ head. Just got a new headshell from mesa and i dont have the screws for it.

I gave up looking for suitable screws and ended up cutting 4 aluminium plates (1.5mm) and screwing on the shielding. I have cut 20mm holes on the case to reach the plates. Those will hopefully hold well..

This thing is still incredibly heavy.. Thought it would be much lighter without the speaker and the cabin..

Most of them are #8-32, though I have seen a few chassis that were 10.

These fit the IIC+ but the earlier ones with the wider spacing used different screws.

8-32 pan head, available at your local hardware store. Should be about 1-1/4" long if you don't have sus-4 shock mounts.
