I was wondering what tone difference there is between the 410 version or the 12 version of the LSS. I haven't been able to try a LSS 410.

I had a Fender Hot Rod DeVille 410 that I traded in on the LSS 112. When I had compared the Hot Rod DeVille 410 and the DeVille 212, the 410 was cleaner sounding. The 212 DeVille was muddy sounding to me.

Has anyone had the chance to compare the LSS 412 and 112 or 212?

Res,

I compared a LSS 1x12 and 2x12. The LSS didn't jump out at me until I tested the 2x12. The 2x12 pushes more air, has more bottom end and a more open airy vibe.

I was also testing an Orange AD 30 head with a 4x12 cab. The LSS 2x12 held its own when compared the larger Orange 4x12 cab. Plus you could dial in more tones with the LSS compared to the Orange. So based on feel and tone, I went with the LSS 2x12 over the LSS 1x12 and Orange. GC didn't have a 4x10 to test.

Because I play out 2-3 times a month, I later order a LSS head and matching 2x12 cab and took back the combo to GC to save my back!
