More than the Deuce actually. it has a cleaner clearer sound where the notes cut through better...but perhaps that comes down to cab choice for the head. the combo is crystal clear for leads.
Much more so than a dual recto.
I love the solo sounds I get out of my DR with E34L's in it. I like the stiletto, but personally I need 3 channels and the added versatility of the 3 channel DR. Channel 3 in vintage and channel 2 in raw with everything at noon (maybe a little higher on treble or gain) is amazing for lead and rhythm work, but then again I use my pick attack to dictate heavy rhythms from soft clip (and Dunlop Jazztone 205's).
If you like the EL34 tone, there is no question you want a Stiletto. I've owned both and I ran my DR with EL34s for the majority of the amp's life with me... there is no comparison in my opinion if you want EL34 tones... and the ability to have a liquid solo voice.
