of NOT metal. Like funk or something. I am considering getting an MK. III, and I'm trying to find clips but all I can find is metal stuff. Does anyone have any clips of an MK III (or anything) on the lead channel, not playing metal....

You can only play metal with a mark III!

No just kidding. I can tell you that it does a **** good job for every style but it is not going to be the best funk amp out there. It excels at metal though :D

It doesn't have good cleans?? That's all that's really essential for funk...and not to bassy. But I suppose you can dial that out with the onboard EQ.

Also, I know (from looking on Ebay) that not all MK.III's have the EQ.............

It has a **** good clean.

And this one has a clip of Mark III doing some poppy lead from another forumite (I think it was texsunburst).

nice. I'm starting to dig.....

now what's the deal with some of them having the EQ and some not???

GEQ, simul-class and reverb (as well as other things) were optional. Naturally, it was cheaper without GEQ (still is in the second hand market).

it has great cleans but i have heard better out of a lonestar and some fenders. The eq works wonders so i would recomend getting one with it.
