I have a near mint, early 90's Subway Rocket amp that I need to sell. The serial number is under 900. It has a 10 inch Celestion speaker, EL84 power section, Tube buffered accu-tronics spring reverb, three button footswitch with channel/reverb/contour switches and a NICE padded Mesa carrying case. This amp covers so much territory you will be amazed. The cleans are bright and focused with the gain knob backed off and brown and gritty with the gain set high. This amp would be worth it just for it's range of clean tones. Hitting the lead channel adds a cascading gain stage that can go from sweet blues to AC/DC riffage to Mountain and beyond. Then you add in the contour switch which acts like a preset/onboard eq which enables you to get that THICK boogie lead tone and, with lots of gain, cop an impressive Metallica/Megadeath/Dream Theater rhythm tone. It really is a marvel. It has a headphones/silent recording output, three speaker jacks to run an 8 or 4 ohm extension speaker.
