just bought a mesa mk v can you put e34Ls in this amp i know it has the bias switch for 6l6s and el34s what is the diffrence between the el34s and e34ls will it damage my amp thanks Tim

I'm assuming you mean the difference between 6L6s and EL34s?
6L6's are fatter with more bottom, the 34s have a little more brightness to them.
It wont damage your amp, as long as you set your bias switch accordingly.
DON'T mix them up!

The E34L's have a little tighter low end than the standard EL34's, they are also a bit punchier and agresssive than the standard EL34. I have a set I was using I like the way they sound, they bring a little low end back in to your sound. You just have to be careful cause they run hotter, which means they may die a little sooner. I was using them in my dual rec with good results, I was just warned to use the tube mode, not the diode cause they won't have a very long lifespan.
