This is a "near mint" condition Mesa/Boogie Maverick Dual Rectifier amp. This is more of a "2 amps in 1" rather than a traditional channel-switching amp. The Rhythm Channel gives you everything from clean Fender tones, to thick-n-crunchy Texas blues (kind of like old ZZ Top). The "fat" switch on this channel can be used to further thicken the tone (great for weak single coils) or warm it up for a great jazz tone. The Lead channel goes from mild overdrive, to smooth saturated leads, into classic rock distortion (but never harsh sounding.) This amp will NOT give you the hi gain sound that the current Mesa Dual Recifiers produce - this is a classic high-end all round amp - from blues to country to jazz to classic rock. Kept in a smoke-free home environment and is not gigged (although it would make a great, versatile gigging amp with more than enough power).

The user manual gives a lot more info: http://www.mesaboogie.com/manuals/Maverick.pdf
