Mesa Boogie Coliseum Tube lineup

I have the 300 series Coliseum Mark III. 4 6l6s and 2 EL 34s
Anybody know if the EL 34s should be on plugged in on the outside or in the center.

I also have a MARK III blue stripe. Where should the EL 34s go.
Boogie at one point recommended the outside and then said on the inside or vice versa. I'm confused...

They also recommend the presence at 7 and treble at 4. God **** shrill eadrum ripping on both strat and sg. Whats up with that?

Finally, some major issues with midrange tone. Anyway to remmedy that?

On 300 Simuls the EL34's go in the middle two. On 75W Simul's they go in the outer two sockets.
